Dipendra Singh Airee joins elite list:

Dipendra Singh Airee has become only the third cricketer in international T20s to achieve the feat of hitting six sixes in an over. The first player to achieve the feat was India legend Yuvraj Singh. The former India batsman had famously hit England's Stuart Broad for six sixes in an over during the 2007 T20 World Cup.

Later in 2021, former West Indies allrounder Kieron Pollard became the second player to hit six sixes in an over. He hit Sri Lanka's Akila Dananjaya for six sixes in an over.

The first player to hit six sixes in an over in international cricket is South Africa's Herschelle Gibbs. The former Proteas opener hit the six sixes in an over during the ODI World Cup match between South Africa and the Netherlands in 2007. USA's Jaskaran Malhotra has also hit six sixes in an over in ODIs.

Talkin about Dipendra Singh Airee, he is no stranger to hitting six sixes in as many balls. Last year, he had six consecutive sixes although the sixes were spread across two overs. He achieved the feat during the game between Nepal and Mongolia in the Asian Games.

He first hit Mungun Altankhuyag for five straight sixes before hitting the first ball he faced next over from Luvsanzundui Erdenebulgan for another six. He had finished his innings on 52 off just 10 balls as Nepal finished their innings on a record total of 314/3. They became the first team to touch the 300-run mark in T20Is.
