Former England batsman Nick Compton continues added another tweet with Virat Kohli in it on Thursday moments before the India captain came in the ground to bat at the Oval.
Compton, who had earlier thrashed Virat Kohli for his aggressive and verbal attitude on the field, posted a video on his Twitter of the Indian skipper walking in the field surrounded by applause, asking him “Keep it tidy please”.
Virat Kohli is the most foul-mouthed individual: Nick Compton
After the conclusion of the Lord’s Test, which India won, Nick Compton, who featured in 16 Tests for England, expressed his absolute irritation by Virat Kohli’s demeanor on the field. He termed him “the most foul-mouthed individual” before stating that the Delhi lad had hurled a barrage of expletives his way back in 2012.
Compton compared Kohli’s dramatics with those of Joe Root, Sachin Tendulkar, and Kane Williamson, who are usually calm, composed, and pole opposite in expressiveness than Kohli.
“Isn’t Kohli the most foul mouthed individual. I’ll Never forget the barrage of abuse I received in 2012 when the swearing stunned me to the point that he did himself a serious disservice. It highlights what a level headed and grounded man Root, Tendulkar, Williamson et al are,” Compton had tweeted.

After his tweet, the netizens were sent in a frenzied more; unhappy with Compton’s remarks they targeted him with several varied responses, which forced the 38-year-old to delete his tweet.
Meanwhile, at the Oval, England are on top going into Lunch with three wickets in their bag after the Indian openers had a brisk start after being inserted in by Joe Root.
With the help of some brilliant stroke-making from KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma, their stand put up 28 runs soon. However, Chris Woakes, playing his first Test match in a year, stopped that procession with Sharma’s wicket.
Ollie Robinson got rid of Rahul before James Anderson once again nicked off Cheteshwar Pujara leaving India reeling at 39/3. In a surprise move, Ravindra Jadeja has been promoted over Ajinkya Rahane and Rishabh Pant to number 5. Jadeja and Kohli held fort till the end of the first session.
