Nitish Rana and his wife are expecting the birth of twins
Nitish Rana's gesture came up following the announcement that he and his wife were expecting the birth of twins. He confirmed the development through his Instagram account and posted a picture of his wife. He captioned the picture:

Nitish Rana ends up playing an innings of 81 runs off 36 balls against Chennai Super Kings
Nitish Rana had a terrific outing with the bat in his third innings for Rajasthan Royals. The Southpaw ended with an innings of 81 runs off 36 balls, missing his century by 19 runs. The left-hander had a strike rate of 225 as he slammed 10 fours and a sixes during his stay at the crease.
Apart from him, stand-in skipper Riyan Parag played a decent hand as well. The Rajasthan Royals all-rounder scored 37 runs off 28 balls. Shimron Hetmyer (19) also came up with a handy effort down the order, as the team ended up with a total of 182 runs on the board.
For Chennai Super Kings, Noor Ahmad and Matheesha Pathirana were the pick of the bowlers as they both returned with figures of 2/28. Apart from them, Khaleel Ahmed also bagged two scalps, while Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja bagged one wicket.
