The viral video captured a moment that has sparked controversy on social media. Notably, the Babar Azam-led Pakistan cricket team is currently on an England tour to play the four-match T20I series.

As the IPL 2024 final between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) played on a screen in Cardiff, the Pakistani players seemed to avoid paying any attention to the match, passing by without a second glance.

In the video, not even a single player looked at the TV screen, where the IPL 2024 Final was playing in the Pakistan cricket team hotel in Cardiff, and they passed by just completely ignoring the game.

This incident serves as a blunt reminder of the deep-rooted rivalry between India and Pakistan, both on and off the field, and it is clear that the rivalry shows no signs of cooling down anytime soon, as it will once again reignite in New York on June 9.

However, this attitude of Pakistani players has raised eyebrows and become a hot topic for debate, with some Indian fans seeing it as a sign of disrespect towards the IPL and Indian cricket, while others view it as a testament to Pakistan's focus on their own cricket assignments. T20 World Cup 2024 will add fuel to the India-Pakistan rivalry

Notably, the Men in Green are currently trailing by 0-1 in the ongoing four-match T20I series against England. On the other hand, the Indian cricket team has already landed in the USA and started their preparations for the T20 World Cup in 2024.

The Men in Blue will kick off their campaign against Ireland on June 5 at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York, followed by the much-anticipated clash against Pakistan at the same venue on June 9.

Pakistan will kick off their T20 World Cup 2024 campaign against the co-hosts, the USA on June 6 in Texas. It is being said that they will not play any warm-up games ahead of the tournament. But the Pakistan team can change their plans after two T20Is against England were washed out due to rain.
