A training video involving Pakistan women cricketers has gone viral on social media, with fans mocking the unusual exercises shown in the footage. Four players can be seen performing a series of partner drills while their teammates cheer them on, leading to plenty of reactions online.
The footage is reportedly from the Pakistan Under-19 women’s team rather than the senior side. Notably, the video has surfaced shortly after Pakistan’s senior women secured an Asian Games bronze medal with a 31-run win over Bangladesh in the third-place playoff at Korogi Sports Park in Nisshin.
Pakistan U19 Women’s Training Video Goes Viral
The video shows four players performing different exercises with the help of their teammates. One player appears to perform a hamstring stretch with a partner, while others attempt plank, leg-raise, and leg-drive exercises.
The players hold each other’s legs and hands while completing the drills that quickly attracted attention on social media. Their teammates can also be heard cheering them on as they complete the exercises.

Social media users compared the routine to a similar training video involving former Pakistan captain Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan. Their workout had also attracted attention on social media and was later mocked by members of the Indian team.
Indian fast bowler Arshdeep Singh notably imitated the exercises on the field, adding to the attention surrounding the original video.
Pakistan Women Secure Asian Games Bronze Medal
While the training video attracted plenty of online reactions, the senior side produced a strong result at the Asian Games 2026. They defeated Bangladesh by 31 runs in the third-place playoff at Korogi Sports Park to secure the bronze medal.
Pakistan were restricted to 145/8 in 20 overs after winning the toss and batting first. Fatima Sana led the way with an unbeaten 45 off 30 balls, hitting three fours and three sixes.
Gull Feroza gave Pakistan a quick start with 31 off 23 balls, while Aliya Riaz added 25 off 22 deliveries, including two sixes. Shawaal Zulfiqar also contributed 17 off 27 balls.
Ritu Moni, Shorna Akter and Nahida Akter took two wickets each for Bangladesh, while Sanjida Akter Meghla claimed one wicket. The lower-order contributions helped the team reach 145/8 despite Bangladesh’s efforts to restrict the scoring.
Umm-e-Hani Stars as Pakistan Defend 146 Against Bangladesh
Bangladesh struggled during the chase and finished on 114/7 in 20 overs, handing Pakistan a 31-run victory. Shamim Akhter top-scored for Bangladesh with an unbeaten 46 off 45 balls, including four boundaries.
Captain Nigar Sultana made 25 off 30 deliveries, while Dilara Akter contributed 12 off eight balls. Umm-e-Hani was the standout bowler for Pakistan, taking 3/10 in four overs. Tasmia Rubab, Fatima Sana, Nashra Sandhu and Ayesha Zafar took one wicket each.
The victory secured Pakistan’s bronze medal after a disciplined bowling performance in the second innings. The senior team’s success provided a contrasting backdrop to the social media attention surrounding the Under-19 training footage.
