India Women’s Cricket Team are currently facing England in a one-off Test match where the Indian Women have really taken hold of the game against England. India posted a total of 428 in the first innings and in reply, England Women were bowled out for a meager 136 runs. Only Nat Sciver-Brunt impressed with the bat for England whereas the rest of the team failed to perform with the bat.

One of the highlights of England’s innings was Pooja Vastrakar’s direct hit to incur a run out on English opener Tammy Beaumont. Pooja was spot on with her direct hit from the mid-wicket region which got the wicket of Tammy Beaumont. Nat Sciver-Brunt pushed the ball lightly towards the mid-wicket region and called for a run which Tammy Beaumont was not sure about. However, Beaumont ran for a single but Vastrakar was quick to get to the ball and throw it aiming at the stumps on the keeper’s end.
