Prabhsimran Singh, on Saturday (April 26), played an outrageous shot for a six off Sunil Narine's bowling during the match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Punjab Kings at the Eden Gardens.
After PBKS captain Shreyas Iyer won the toss and opted to bat first, Prabhsimran Singh struggled to get going early on while his opening partner Priyansh Arya did the bulk of the scoring. At the end of the 4th over, Priyansh was batting on 28 off 11 balls while Prabhsimran Singh was batting on a run-a-ball 13.
The wicketkeeper-batsman finally got into his groove in the fifth over when he hit Harshit Rana for a four and a six. After that, he took Sunil Narine to the cleaners in the 11th over. Narine had conceded just 7 runs in his first two overs, but it did not stop Prabhsimran from attacking the KKR veteran.

Priyansh hit Narine's first ball for a six before Prabhsimran hit him for two more sixes. And the first of those two sixes was absolutely outrageous. Narine bowled a tossed-up delivery and Prabhsimran brought out the switch hit to send the ball over the stands. He made a good connection, hitting the ball over the deep extra cover boundary for a 77-meter six.

Talking about the game, PBKS were on 136/1 in the 13th over at the time of writing this report. Prabhsimran and captain Shreyas Iyer were batting in the middle for the visitors. Earlier in the game, Prabhsimran and Priyansh put PBKS in the driver's seat by adding 120 runs for the first wicket.
Andre Russell broke the stand in the 12th over when he dismissed Priyansh. The youngster departed after scoring 69 runs off 35 balls with the help of 8 fours and 4 sixes. Prabhsimran has completed his fifty as well and will be looking to convert it into a century.
