Prasidh Krishna goes aggressive in the 20th over

Krishna was given the responsibility to bowl the final over of the innings by his skipper, Shubman Gill when the explosive batsman Tim David was on strike.

He started off very well with a dot and a double on the first two balls. However, after that, he was taken to the cleaners by Tim David, who blasted 4, 6, 4 on the next three balls.

Then, GT skipper Shubman Gill was seen having a word with Prasidh Krishna, who, following the chat, ran to bowl the last delivery but pulled out at the last moment, seemingly threatening to run out Bhuvneshwar Kumar at the non-striker's end and playing some mind games.

Prasidh Krishna was then seen reloading and he rattled the stumps of Tim David on the last ball. He bowled a perfect yorker to David, who was late in his shot and saw his stumps getting demolished.

The premier pacer was delighted after dismissing the batter and was seen giving him a brutal bye-bye send-off as David took a long walk back to the pavilion, scoring 32 runs off 18 balls, with 3 fours and 2 sixes.

Why Royal Challengers Bengaluru have been performing well in IPL 2025?

RCB have started off their IPL 2025 campaign on a high as they beat Kolkata Knight Riders and Chennai Super Kings in away matches and registered big wins.

During an interaction with ESPNcricinfo, the former India pacer Varun Aaron was asked what's clicking for RCB in the IPL 2025. Replying to this, Varun Aaron said that they have a lot of self-belief this time around and they have got a great bowling attack. He said:

"I think it's their style of play they've bought into after the flourish they had towards the end of last season. I think that flourish really made them believe that they can do things which they didn't at the start of the season. And also, RCB genuinely start off slow in the season just like Mumbai Indians.

"And that puts a lot of pressure on you towards the back end especially when there are 10 teams. And at the end of the day, RCB are really, really looking good especially with their bowling attack because I feel this bowling attack really suits Chinnaswamy Stadium because all bowlers love to hit the stumps with the new ball."
