Former India Head Coach Rahul Dravid got a grand welcome at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) after guiding Team India to the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. NCA members and students gave a guard of honor as Rahul Dravid returned to the Academy, where he worked as NCA chief before joining the Indian Team as Head Coach.

Rahul Dravid was the Head of National Cricket Academy ahead of his stint with the Indian Team. The former India skipper did a wonderful job of finding young talents for the national team during his role as NCA Director.

Dravid also led the Under-19 India team to the ICC Under-10 World Cup in 2018 with Prithvi Shaw as skipper. During his stint as NCA's Head of Cricket, Dravid was also the head coach of the Under-19 and India A team, which also won the Under-19 ODI World Cup.

There is no doubt that Rahul Dravid has fulfilled the long-standing demand of Indian fans to win an ICC title, something that a powerful coach like Ravi Shastri was unable to do during his four years.

However, the Rahul Dravid-Rohit Sharma combination finally helped Team India to grab the trophy in the recent ICC T20 World Cup 2024.

Indian team and players are busy with celebrations after returning to India. Earlier, there was a victory parade at the Marine Drive area in Mumbai where Rohit Sharma & Boys celebrated the victory with Indian cricket fans.

Now, Rahul Dravid was also welcomed by NCA members as he visited the academy. NCA employees gifted him flowers and children raised their bats to honor Dravid for his crucial contribution to Indian cricket. They also gave him a guard of honor. Have a look at the video below.

Meanwhile, the former Test specialist has resigned from the post of Head Coach of Team India. Also, Rohit Sharma has retired as the T20I captain and the Rahul-Rohit pair will not be seen on the field like the last four years. However, their lovely moments and ICC triumph will be cherished by fans for years to come.
