Legendary Pakistan fast bowler Wasim Akram has brutally trolled his former teammate Ramiz Raja for the latter's comment on Cristiano Ronaldo's diet plan. The comment was made in November 2023 when Ramiz was speaking on a local television show.

Wasim Akram wasn't going to spare Ramiz on his comments and left no stones unturned in trolling Ramiz Raja. Akram made these comments during a popular TV show in Pakistan known as 'Dressing Room. '

What did Ramiz Raja say on Cristiano Ronaldo's diet plan?

Ramiz Raja had claimed that Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo's diet is prepared by the scientists of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). The video went viral on social media and Ramiz was trolled by the users.

"(Cristiano) Ronaldo ki jo diet plan hai vo NASA ke scientists set karte hain (Ronaldo's diet plan is prepared by the scientists at NASA)," Ramiz Raja had said back then on Pakistan's 'Suno News'.

In the show, Raja was speaking about the fitness of Pakistan cricketers after the team crashed out of the World Cup 203 group stage and were unable to qualify for the semi-finals. The comment had gone viral across the border as well.

Wasim Akram trolls Ramiz Raja for his comments on Ronaldo's diet plan

While speaking in a local Pakistani TV show, 'Dressing Room', Wasim Akram trolled Ramiz Raja on his comments on Ronaldo's diet plan. Akram was accompanied by Waqar Younis, Ajay Jadeja, and Nikhil Chopra in the panel.

"I've heard that (Cristiano) Ronaldo's diet plan is prepared by NASA," Wasim Akram said on the show.

The other expert in the panel, Waqar Younis, claimed that he has also heard the same but doesn't know who said it. Both of them shared a laugh and took a dig at comments made by Ramiz Raja earlier.

Ramiz Raja has also served as the chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) during 2021-2022. During his tenure, Pakistan defeated India in the T20 World Cup 2021 in a historic occasion.

The Men in Green even made it to the semi-finals of the tournament held in the UAE but lost to the eventual champions Australia in a thrilling encounter.

Poor times for Pakistan cricket

Pakistan cricket team is going through bad times currently as they suffered crushing defeats to New Zealand and India respectively to bow out of the ongoing Champions Trophy.

The Champions Trophy 2025 is the first ICC tournament played in Pakistan in 29 years, but the hosts were unable to make the most of their familiar conditions and pitches.

The defending champions lost the opening match to New Zealand by 60 runs as they failed to chase down a stiff target of 321 runs. In the second match, Pakistan lost to the arch-rivals India by 6 wickets with more than seven overs to spare.

Their final group stage match against Bangladesh was washed out due to persistent rain in Rawalpindi and Pakistan remained winless in their home Champions Trophy campaign.
