Rare scenes unfolded during the 29th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 between the Mumbai Indians (MI) and the Delhi Capitals (DC) as Naman Dhir and Will Jacks were seen completing an all-run four on Sunday, April 13, at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
An all-run four refers to a scenario where the batsmen complete four runs by running between the wickets, rather than scoring through a boundary. This generally happens on larger grounds or due to fielding errors.

The incident happened in the 20th over of the innings when Naman Dhir and Will Jacks were batting for Mumbai Indians and Mukesh Kumar was bowling for Delhi Capitals.
On the last ball of the over, Mukesh Kumar bowled a juicy full toss to Naman Dhir, who swiped it through backward square leg and took off for runs.
Donovan Ferreira, at deep mid-wicket, ran to his right and cut it down to a triple. He threw the ball towards KL Rahul at the striker's end, but the ball hit the stumps and deflected towards the fielder, backing up at backward point.
That fielder also misfielded and Naman Dhir and Will Jacks completed an extra run. Notably, MI didn't get a boundary but the batters completed four runs by physically running between the wickets.
Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians finished their innings with a decent score of 205/5 in 20 overs with Tilak Varma being the top performer as he scored 59 runs.

Yeah, it's been a slow start as a team and myself obviously - Will Jacks
Speaking ahead of the match to the broadcasters, Will Jacks said that they have started pretty slow in the marquee T20 tournament but still have a lot of games left to bounce back. He stated:
"Yeah, it's been a slow start as a team and myself obviously. Everyone wants to contribute to the team. The good thing about the IPL is that there are a lot of opportunities. Plenty of games to change that. Tonight's game is important for the team and go on a roll.
"Every time you change franchises, it has difficulties. But we are used to it now. We are just getting to know the faces of the players and the coaches in the team as fast as possible which is tricky but you just have to throw yourselves up there and go for it. I feel like we have a good group and we know each other very well."
Will Jacks further talked about not getting a lot of opportunity to bowl in the IPL 2025, saying that MI have a high-quality bowling attack, but he keeps himself prepared to bowl whenever needed. He elaborated:
"I think I have only bowled one over since that first game. Hardik has come back and taken those four overs that I have bowled. We obviously got an experienced and high-quality bowling attack. So, I'm not expecting to bowl that many overs. But if I'm needed, I'm working on it and always ready.
"We have kind of talked about how close we have been in the last few games. I think we have lost the last two chases by 12 runs which in T20 cricket is turning two dots into two sixes or ones into twos. It's not very far. We know we are close. We know we have done good stuff. We have just missed out on small bits, some smartness here and there with bat and ball. We have to be good in those pressure moments and hopefully, we'll be on the right side of the result."
