Rashid Khan, on Sunday (May 25), clean bowled Devon Conway to give Gujarat Titans a big breakthrough in the ongoing game against Chennai Super Kings at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
After registering scores of 12, 0, and 10 in his last three innings, Conway finally regained his form and scored a brilliant fifty. Asked to bat first, CSK were off to a good start thanks to a quickfire partnership between Conway and Ayush Mhatre. They added 44 runs inside 4 overs before Mhatre was dismissed after scoring 34 runs off just 17 balls.
Conway and Urvil Patel then took the score past the 100-run mark. Sai Kishore broke the stand by dismissing Patel for 37 runs. It was followed by a 37-run stand between Conway and Shivam Dube before the latter was dismissed by Shahrukh Khan for 17 runs.

After Dube was dismissed, Conway completed his second fifty of the ongoing season in style. On the second ball of the 14th over bowled by Rashid Khan, the New Zealand star hit a six over long-off to complete his fifty off 34 balls.
However, Rashid Khan had the last laugh as he dismissed the southpaw on the very next ball of the over. Conway went for a sweep but failed to make any contact with the ball. The ball went past his inside edge and shattered into the stumps. The CSK opener departed after scoring 52 runs off 35 balls with the help of 6 fours and 2 sixes.

Talking about the game, CSK were on 186/4 in the 17th over at the time of writing this report. Dewald Brevis and Ravindra Jadeja were batting in the middle for the five-time champions. With more than 3 overs remaining, CSK will be hoping to post a 220-plus total.
The ongoing game will be CSK's last game of the season and they will be keen to end their dismal campaign on a winning note. CSK are currently languishing at the bottom of the points table and even if they win the game, they are likely to remain at the last spot.
Gujarat Titans, on the other hand, would be desperate to win the ongoing game to seal a spot in the top two. A win over CSK will confirm their place at the top of the points table.
