Rashid Khan escapes huge injury
Bangladesh won the toss and opted to bat first in the match. With the series leveled 1-1 both the teams were giving it all on the field during the first innings.
One such instance came when the star spinner Rashid Khan came in running to stop the ball. He slid to collect the ball, and as he was doing that, the wicketkeeper-batsman Rahmanullah Gurbaz came in running from behind.
Rahmanullah Gurbaz was at a fast speed, and seeing Rashid on the ground, he tried his best to avoid the collision. He jumped as he neared Rashid and made sure that his knee didn't hit the spinner's head.
However, as Gurbaz jumped over Rashid, he took the hat off the spinner's head. Thankfully, there was no collision, and both the players were absolutely safe after the incident.

The pitch is new. It's a fresh pitch and looks drier and rougher - Hashmatullah Shahidi
Hashmatullah Shahidi while speaking at the toss had said that they were aware of the fact that chasing would be difficult on the surface. He said:
"The pitch is new. It's a fresh pitch and looks drier and rougher. I think it'll spin right from the start. Chasing is a little bit difficult here. We'll try to learn from what we did wrong in the last match and try to do well today. We have spoken about that (rotation of strike). When we played (batting in the second ODI), it was almost like a fourth innings track. We go with the same team.
Meanwhile, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, who served as stand-in Bangladesh captain in the absence of Najmul Hossain Shanto, was delighted after winning the toss and said that he was happy to lead the team in his 100th ODI. He said:
"We'll bat first. The wicket looks good in the first innings. Good moment for me (to play 100th ODI). Two changes. Shanto got injured, Taskin is not playing. Zakir and Nahid Rana are playing."
Bangladesh National Cricket Team posted a good total of 244/8 on the board. This score looked impossible to achieve at a point, but Mahmudullah (98) and Mehidy Hasan Miraz's (66) stunning batting ensured that the Tigers registered a big score.
