Death bowling in the powerplay, and Travis Head goes back into the pavilion. A dream delivery from the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) young star Rasikh Dar.
A dream delivery by the uncapped Indian pacer. Every bowler on the planet will love to deliver the same. The off stump of the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) opener went for a ride as the yorker was on point.
Travis Head was outplayed by the pure class of Rasikh Dar
Travis Head was outclassed on this very point. Rasikh Dar pumped up, Virat Kohli pumped up. RCB drops the first blood of the night. Head departed after a well-made 26 off 16. The left-handed batter was in good form and was looking prepared to get another half-century until Rasikh Dar unleashed the pinpoint yorker.
"That's the Yorker! That's the Yorker with the new ball! Rasikh Dar! Death bowling in the powerplay! Brilliant! Execution at its best. It's speed, 135 clicks, but it's the perfect Yorker," the commentator on air said out of excitement.
The ball was around 135 kmph, but it was in the perfect area of the pitch. Travis Head looked baffled. SRH down by one wicket for 45 runs in 4 overs.

Head was initialy was initially in control against Dar
Until the yorker, the over was going well for the Sunrisers Hyderabad. Head was rolling well, smashing three fours off the young pacer. After those three 4s, the Aussie batter was oozing with emotions and went for another boundary down the ground.
He came out of the crease, created some room to spread his hands, but the delivery was too good to trick the batter. Travis Head turned his head back and saw only the off-stump on the floor.
Rasikh Dar is among the most exciting uncapped recruits for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru. The bowler from Kulgam was associated with the Mumbai Indian, Kolkata Knight Riders, and Delhi Capitals, respectively, before joining RCB ahead of the 2025 season. In IPL 2025, the seamer played only a couple of matches.
RCB keeps trusting in the emerging pacer
Ahead of the IPL 2026 players' auction, RCB retained the emerging talent and gradually made a regular in the playing combination as well. So far in the ongoing season, he has bagged 13 wickets, including the wicket of Travis Head. As RCB has qualified for the play-offs, the wicket tally of Rasikh is expected to improve further.
So far, it is the best IPL season of his career. In 2024, when he was with the Delhi Capitals, he got to take 9 wickets from 8 matches, for an economy rate of 10.97, which was expensive. This first season with RCB was also not worth remembering, as he leaked 70 runs in 36 balls against only one wicket.
