India allrounder Ravindra Jadeja bowled a dream delivery to knock over the stumps of Tom Blundell during the first innings of the third Test between India and New Zealand in Mumbai. Blundell had absolutely no answer to this perfect ball from Jadeja.

Ravindra Jadeja bowled a full-length ball on middle and leg. Blundell, who was new to the crease, tried to defend without any footwork on his backfoot. However, the ball turned past his tentative defense to hit the off stump.

It was a great delivery from the experienced Jadeja who was aware that Blundell was new to the crease. At the same time, Blundell didn't help himself by going on the back foot instead of covering the line of the ball by coming forward. Before dismissing Blundell, Jadeja also got the big wicket of Will Young for 71 to complete a sensational double-wicket over.

Ravindra Jadeja knocks over New Zealand's middle order

As it seemed like New Zealand were cruising after lunch, Ravindra Jadeja provided India with two vital breakthroughs in a single over. Firstly, he removed will Young with a perfect ball that took the batter's outside edge to settle into Rohit Sharma's hands.

Young was out after a well-made half-century. Three balls later, he dismissed Tom Blundell for a duck to bring India back into the game. Both the dismissals were a treat to watch as India clawed their way back after a stubborn partnership from New Zealand batters.

A few overs later, Ravindra Jadeja also picked up the wicket of Glenn Phillips to knock New Zealand further. This time, it was a different ball as it it came in after pitching instead of turning away.

Ravindra Jadeja hasn't had a great series so far. New Zealand's batters also deserve the credit to negotiate him well. However, true to his fighting spirit, Jadeja produced a magnificent spell of bowling after lunch.

New Zealand elect to bat first

Earlier, Tom Latham won the toss and elected to bat first on a hot and humid day at Mumbai. Devon Conway was dismissed cheaply by Akash Deep but Will Young and Tom Latham steadied the innings. Latham was dismissed after getting set but Young carried on.

The star of this series Rachin Ravindra was also dismissed cheaply but Young found an able support from Daryl Mitchell. Mitchell hasn't been at his best this series but looked determined to play a big innings here. He had already completed his fifty and looks set for a big one.

New Zealand lead the three-match Test series 2-0. The visitors have already won the series but both the teams will be vary of the crucial World Test Championship (WTC) points on offer and will be looking to win this Test.
