Cricket, like many sports, often surprises fans with its unpredictable moments, and unexpected on-field incidents add a humorous touch. One such amusing event occurred during the first Test match between India and the West Indies at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Day 3 (Saturday, October 4).
Mohammed Siraj provided an early wicket for his team by dismissing Tagenarine Chanderpaul in the eighth over of the West Indies’ second innings. All-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy took a stunning catch at square leg. Chanderpaul, who was out for a duck in the first innings, scored eight runs off 23 balls.
