Before the match was officially announced as drawn, a hilarious yet memorable moment unfolded involving Jadeja, Sundar, and Brook in Manchester. Jadeja reached his fifth Test century in style, smashing a powerful shot off Harry Brook’s bowling.
As the Indian all-rounder raised his bat to celebrate, Brook seemed to assume the match was heading for a draw. England’s white-ball captain even reached out to Sundar, hinting it was time to wrap things up. But the all-rounder had other plans.

Sundar completely ignored Brook’s gesture and went straight to Jadeja to join in the celebration. He didn’t even look back at the England star, as he was clear to get his maiden Test ton in Manchester. Just a few overs later, Sundar brought up his first-ever Test hundred.
With both players reaching their milestones, India finally agreed to end the match in a draw. Earlier, Jadeja also ignored Ben Stokes’ offer to end the match in a draw when they were near their centuries. And now the clip of Jadeja and Sundar ignoring Brook has been going viral on social media.

The two left-handers batted through two long sessions, adding over 200 valuable runs. Their calm and steady partnership frustrated the English bowlers, who looked exhausted by the end of Day 5. Thanks to this strong stand, India managed to keep the Test series alive.
With the score now 2-1 in England’s favor, Shubman Gill and his young Indian cricket team will aim to level the Test series in the fifth and final Test at The Oval, starting on July 31.
Ben Stokes pleads for a draw, Ravindar Jadeja says ‘Not My Call’
Notably, England players like Ben Stokes, Ben Duckett, and Zak Crawley were seen trying to convince Jadeja to agree to a draw. But Ravindra Jadeja told them the call wasn’t his to make, saying it had been decided by India’s head coach Gautam Gambhir and captain Shubman Gill.
Later, Gill revealed that it was actually Jadeja and Sundar who chose not to shake hands. They wanted to stay out there a little longer and reach their personal milestones.
