India Women's National Cricket Team wicketkeeper batter Richa Ghosh came up with a sensational effort behind the stumps in the ongoing game against Pakistan Women's National Cricket Team. The Women's T20 World 2024 clash between the teams is underway at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai.

India Women's National Cricket Team have been all over the opposition with the ball as they have picked wickets in clusters and have put pressure on the opposition. The team has been pretty active on the field as well and they have shown great commitment on the field.

Keeper-batter Richa Ghosh has been among one of the active players for the team and has kept the intensity high on the field. She caught the attention of many with the catch that he picked to remove dangerous Pakistan Women's National Cricket Team batter Fatim Sana.

Fatima Sana looked in decent touch with the bat. The batter scored 12 runs off just 8 balls and also slammed two boundaries in his innings. With her wicket, the Pakistan Women's National Cricket Team lost their 6th wicket for just 70 runs, and after that, they lost more wickets.

Pakistan post 108 runs on board

Nida Dar was the top run-getter for Pakistan with an innings of 28 runs. They ended with a total of just 105 runs. For India Women's National Cricket Team, Arundhati Reddy was the pick of the bowlers as she picked three wickets while Shreyanka Patil bagged two wickets.

Renuka Singh, Deepti Sharma, and Asha Sobhana also picked one scalp each. They would be confident of chasing the target and for that, Richa Ghosh would be important.

"Getting the first World Cup wicket is pretty special, and getting it against Pakistan is even more special. Thanks to the crowd here for consistently cheering for us. Amazing to be a part of this World Cup. Back at home, I was cheering for India in front of the TV, and to be a part of this team feels great.

"It was a batting wicket but we as bowlers picked some crucial wickets in the powerplay and the death overs. I think I’m going to have iced tea now. It is pretty hot and humid, but we have practised here and we had a training camp in Bangalore as well. We as the bowling unit have done our job, up to the batters now to do their job and get us home nice and early."
