Wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant took a magnificent catch behind the stumps to dismiss Avesh Khan during the Duleep Trophy 2024 opening match between India A and India B at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

Rishabh Pant took the catch after India A's left-arm spinner R Sai Kishore had dropped a regulation catch on the previous ball.

It was the 51st over of India A's second innings. With just 2 wickets needed to win fast bowler Navdeep Saini was aiming to finish off the match as soon as possible.

Saini bowled a sharp bouncer to Akash Deep which the batter tried to put away. But unfortunately, it took a top edge, and R Sai Kishore, who was stationed at the midwicket boundary just for this shot, could not hold on to the catch while running in from the boundary line.

But in the next ball, Rishabh Pant made up for it as he took a brilliant diving catch behind the stumps.

Saini bowled a short of a length ball on Avesh Khan's hips, which he tried to flick away but Pant dived full stretch and showed his athleticism to complete the catch with both hands.
