Rishabh Pant has been in a joyous mood ever since the ongoing Duleep Trophy 2024 started. The ongoing tournament also marked his return to the red-ball cricket after 2022. The keeper-batter played his first game in whites after the horrific accident that he faced in December 2022 after the Bangladesh Tests.

Pant made a decent return to Test cricket in the ongoing Duleep Trophy 2024. The keeper-batter played a decent hand with the bat for his team in the second innings and also has been sensational behind the stumps, diving on both sides of the wicket.

Rishabh Pant, who failed to get going in the first innings of the game, made sure that he made a massive impact in the second innings. The keeper-batter came to bat when they lost early wickets and were under pressure, but he came up with an aggressive mindset with the bat.

Pant slammed a brutal half-century and announced his arrival in Tests in style. The left-hander played glorious shots in his innings and ended with the innings of 61 runs off 47 balls. He also hit 9 fours and 2 six in his innings, which helped the team take a massive lead.

The innings will be a massive confidence booster for him ahead of the Test series against the Bangladesh National Cricket Team. The two teams will be locking horns with each other in the two-match Test series, starting 19th September, which will also be part of the ICC World Test Championship.

The spotlight will be on Rishabh Pant, who will be making his comeback to the Test team after 634 days. Overall, Pant has scored 2,271 runs at an average of 43.67, including five centuries in 33 games for India. He would be keen to make an impact on the team on his Test return. He recently made his comeback for the national team in the white-ball cricket, including in T20 World Cup 2024.
