England Have 2-1 Lead After Four Matches in the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy Series

England took a 2-1 lead over India ahead of the fifth and final Test of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy. The series has been tightly contested, with each of the first four matches going into the final day with all results possible.

England secured victories in the opening Test at Headingley and the third at Lord’s. India's only win came in the second Test at Edgbaston. The fourth Test in Manchester ended in a draw following an impressive batting performance from the Indian side.

The final Test is currently being played at the Kennington Oval in London. India have managed just two wins at this venue, along with six losses and seven draws. However, they recorded a memorable win against England at the Oval in 2021, where Rohit Sharma played a key role with a century (127).
