India National Cricket Team skipper Rohit Sharma won the hearts of many with his gesture after the game against Australia's PM XI. The pink-ball warmup game between the two teams took place at the Manuka Oval in Canberra on Sunday (1st December).
After the game between the India National Cricket Team and Australia's Prime Minister's XI ended, skipper Rohit Sharma decided to spend some time with the fans. The opening batter was seen giving his autographs to the fans as well as taking pictures with the spectators who were in the stadium.
Rohit, near the entrance, was seen giving autographs, and one of the fans from the opposite side shouted, "Rohit Bhai, Please 10 saal hogye yaar" (Rohit bhai, I have been waiting for 10 years). This made the skipper laugh, and then he went to the fan and signed the bat for him.
The video was posted by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on their social media account. They uploaded the video with the caption: "The wait of a decade finally ends. A fan waited for 10 years to get a @ImRo45 autograph and yesterday was his lucky day."

Rohit Sharma likely to bat at No.5 in the Adelaide Test
With Rohit now making a comeback, the question now remains on his batting position for the second Test. Since KL Rahul and Yashasvi Jaiswal played a massive role as openers in the first game, opinions have been there that the duo should be allowed to continue opening the batting for the rest of the series.
However, Rohit himself provided a hint about the same. In the game against Australia's PM XI, he came to bat at No.4 as KL Rahul and Yashasvi Jaiswal opened the innings for the team. There have been speculations that the skipper might bat at No.5 in Adelaide. But so far, there hasn't been any clarity, and it remains to be seen who will open in the next game.
