Sam Curran takes Suryansh Shedge to the cleaners
Curran looked in terrific touch with the bat in the match against the Punjab Kings after failing to deliver in the first few matches for the Chennai Super Kings.
Sam Curran came out to bat at No.3 after the dismissal of Shaik Rasheed and completed his half-century off 30 balls by playing an attacking brand of cricket.
He accelerated further after hitting the fifty and launched a brutal attack on Suryansh Shedge in the 16th over. On the first two balls of the over, Sam Curran slammed the Indian all-rounder for back-to-back sixes over long-on and over mid-wicket.
The next ball was a no-ball, and PBKS got a total of 5 runs from it. Then, on the fourth and fifth balls, Sam Curran slammed Suryansh Shedge for back-to-back fours before finishing the over with a single to take 26 runs from it.

It's a special place to be here - Sam Curran's teammate
Speaking in a video shared on IPL's website, CSK batter Dewald Brevis said that being in Chepauk and playing for Chennai Super Kings is quite special for him. He said:
"Yeah, thank you. My birthday was yesterday. But thank you very much. Well, I'm really grateful to have the young players in our team. So, I don't feel that old. But I do feel older. A bit of more experience.
'(On playing for CSK) It's a special place. I have loved my time here in India. If you just look at this crowd, they roared in the previous game. It was too loud. Hopefully, this game, it's gonna be the same. The fans are amazing. I just love it. It's a special place to be here. We all ready for the next game that's in front of us."
Dewald Brevis further talked about his form, and he also said that he is ready to bat at whatever position CSK team management demands from him. He said:
"All the big players have found their rhythm and their basis in red-ball cricket and that's the pinnacle, the Test match cricket. I enjoy red-ball cricket and I love it. Just spend some time in the field. It's like a little present you get to play T20 game. It's shorter and quicker and more entertaining and more fun in a way.
"I think for me, the most important thing will be what the team needs. I enjoy the middle order. If I have to open, I will open. I don't mind. But I really enjoy having this middle phase to try and be strong from ball one."
