Sanju Samson, on Saturday (October 12), scored his maiden T20I century during the third India vs Bangladesh T20I at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad.

After a string of poor performances in recent times, the right-handed batsman roared back to form with the stunning knock. He made his intentions crystal clear in the very second over of the game by hitting Taskin Ahmed for four boundaries in a row. After that over, he did not look back as he blew Bangladesh away with his whirlwind knock.

He reached his fifty in the seventh over by hitting Rishad Hossain for two fours and a six on three consecutive deliveries. Samson reached his fifty off just 22 balls. There was no stopping the Kerala star even after he completed his half-century.

In the tenth over, Sanju Samson took Hossain to the cleaners once again by hitting him for five sixes in a row. After Hossain bowled a dot delivery, Samson hit the second ball for a six straight down the ground. On the third ball, he hit a six over long-off.

On the fourth ball, Samson hit another six straight down the ground to complete a hat-trick of sixes. The fourth six went towards long-on before the India opener hit another six over deep mid-wicket.
