Rajasthan Royals skipper Sanju Samson has been having a decent time in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The keeper-batter has been leading the team well and also has been batting well in the league, making sure he leads from the front.
Samson played the first three games as an impact player because of his finger injury. The keeper-batter also didn't lead the team in those games, and in his absence, Riyan Parag was at the helm of things. He, however, didn't have a good time as, under him, the team struggled.
After the three games, Samson finally returned as a fully fit batter against the Punjab Kings. He made an instant impact as under him, Rajasthan Royals won the game and he also led from the front, scoring 38 runs off 26 balls.
However, in the next game against Gujarat Titans, Rajasthan Royals faced a poor 58-run loss. Sanju Samson played a vital role for his team in the game as he scored 41 runs off 28 balls but couldn't take his team home as the team got all out for just 159 runs while chasing 218 runs.

Rajasthan Royals haven't been at their best in the IPL 2025 so far. The Sanju Samson-led side has managed just two wins from the 5 games that they have played and is currently reeling at the 7th on points. They would be keen to make a strong comeback against Royal Challengers Bengaluru and improve their position on the points table.
Sanju Samson is the top run-getter for Rajasthan Royals with 178 runs in five matches
If Rajasthan Royals want to make a comeback, Samson will have to lead from the front. The keeper-batter has looked in decent touch in the league and has slammed 178 runs in five matches at an average of 35.6. He is also the top run-getter for his team in the league.
Coming to the head-to-head record between RR and RCB. The two teams have met 32 times in the IPL with the Royals winning 14 times. Royal Challengers Bengaluru have emerged victorious on 15 occasions and three matches ended in no result.
