In a big boost for the Rajasthan Royals, Sanju Samson is all set to be ready to play the team’s last two matches in the IPL 2025. Captain Sanju Samson has rejoined the Rajasthan Royals squad ahead of the resumption of the tournament and even started practice at the nets.

Despite being out of the IPL 2025 playoff race, the Royals are determined to end their campaign on a strong note with their full-strength team. Before the tournament was suspended for one week, Samson had suffered an abdominal injury during RR’s clash against Delhi Capitals last month, which forced him to miss a few matches.

Well, the recent break in the tournament due to India-Pakistan tensions turned out to be a blessing for Samson, as it gave the RR skipper enough time to recover completely. Now fully fit and back in training, Sanju is set to lead from the front as Rajasthan aims to finish the season on a positive note.

In IPL 2025, Samson has played seven matches, scoring 224 runs at an average of 32 and a strike rate above 143 despite the frustrating injuries, including a finger injury earlier this season. Notably, the Royals have won only three of their 12 games so far this season, sitting on the 9th spot in the table.
