Rachin Ravindra has been a thorn in the flesh for India in this series so far. However, Ravindra was dismissed cheaply during the first innings of the third Test between India and New Zealand in Mumbai.

Washington Sundar drifted a ball from around the wicket to the left-hander. The ball pitched around off and turned just enough to beat the outside edge of Ravindra's forward defense and clipped the off stump.

Rachin Ravindra was left shellshocked after the dismissal as Sarfaraz Khan was seen mocking him from the square leg position. Sarfaraz Khan left no chance to take a dig at his counterpart It was a great ball from Sundar who got the big wicket of Ravindra for the third time in the series.

It was a huge wicket from India's perspective as Rachin Ravindra has looked in exceptionally great form this series. He has played pace and spin equally well and has looked a class apart from the other batters from both the sides.

Washington Sundar gets Rachin Ravindra again

Washington Sundar bowled Rachin Ravindra for the third consecutive time this series. He had also got Ravindra's wicket twice in the Pune Test. Ravindra had no answers to this delivery as it was close to unplayable.

Rachin Ravindra has been the highest run-scorer in this series so far. The young New Zealand batter has taken to international cricket like fish to water and has smoothly transformed himself into an all-format cricketer.

He was the Player of the Match in the first Test of the series at Bengaluru after he struck a magnificent hundred to take his team to a memorable win. He also scored a crucial half-century in the second Test at Pune.

Meanwhile, Washington Sundar continued his good run of form with the ball in Mumbai. The young offspinner from Tamil Nadu picked up 11 wickets in Pune and has already picked up two wickets before lunch on Day 1 at Mumbai.

Before dismissing Rachin Ravindra, Washington Sundar had also picked up the big wicket of New Zealand's captain Tom Latham off a similar ball from around the wicket. Latham was dismissed for 28 runs.

India keep picking wickets to rock New Zealand

New Zealand were 92-3 at lunch with Will Young and Daryl Mitchell at the crease. Young was looking good on 38 off 78 balls while Mitchell was unbeaten in 11. For India, Sundar picked up 2 wickets for 26 runs in 8 overs.

Earlier, Tom Latham won the toss and elected to bat first. New Zealand were rocked early by the fast bowler Akash Deep, who dismissed Devon Conway cheaply.

New Zealand are already 2-0 up in the series and already have the series in their bag. However, India will be looking to win this match to salvage some pride. Both the teams will know that some crucial World Test Championship (WTC) are also at stake and will look to win this game.
