Sarfaraz Khan

Sarfaraz Khan must have felt hard done by when he was not included in the playing eleven for ongoing India vs Bangladesh Test at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

He was a part of India's playing eleven for the last Test assignment and had done well too. In India's last Test match which was the Dharamsala Test against England, the right-handed batsman had played a fine knock of 56 runs from just 60 balls.

However, there was no place for Sarfaraz Khan in the team for the ongoing Test. The reason was the return of KL Rahul. Rahul had missed the last four Tests against England owing to an injury and returned to the playing eleven straightaway.

Even though Sarfaraz Khan faced the disappointing drop from the playing eleven, he has not let the setback bog him down. The Mumbai batsman showed his remarkable discipline and commitment to the game by sweating it out straight after the end of the third day's play in Chennai.

Soon after the day's action came to an end, Sarfaraz walked out on the field and was seen working on his fitness with strength and conditioning coach Soham Desai.
