England star Harry Brook was lucky to survive even though the ball hit the stumps in the ongoing first Pakistan vs England Test in Multan.

The incident took place in the 76th over when a well-set Harry Brook was facing Aamer Jamal. On the fourth ball of the over, Jamal bowled a back of a length deliver that moved in at the last moment. Harry Brook defended it confidently before the ball bounced and hit his helmet grille.

The ball then started rolling towards the stumps and an attentive Harry Brook quickly tried to kick the ball away. However, he failed to stop the ball from going towards the stump. The drama, however, did not end there.

While the ball went on to hit the stumps, it did not have the momentum to take the bails off. As a result, Brook survived while Jamal was left disappointed. He was batting on 75 at that time and went on to score a fine century.
