Meanwhile, Raza, who is all set to represent Lahore Qalandars in the upcoming PSL 2025, has denied any disappointment over his snub at the IPL 2025 mega auction. The Zimbabwe captain said that he is not disappointed about missing out on this year’s Indian Premier League; rather, he is more focused on working hard and trying his luck again next time.

Raza explained, “Not at all. I have very strong beliefs and faith. What's meant to be, meant to be. If you do everything you can, from a cricketing point of view, whether it's on the international stage or the franchise stage, regardless of which tournament you are in, there is no selection. I go back; I work hard. I put my name in the next draft and see what happens. I don't get disappointed easily.”

Meanwhile, Sikandar Raza is captaining the Dubai Capitals in the International League T20 (ILT20) 2025, and he will be aiming to lead from the front with both bat and ball. Dubai Capitals will next face MI Emirates on January 13 in their second game in the ongoing ILT20 2025 in Sheikh Zayed Stadium.
