Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav has shown great sportsmanship by withdrawing an appeal after a UAE batter was given out by the third umpire. The incident marked a commendable gesture from the Indian captain.
India has bowled out the United Arab Emirates for the score of just 57 runs, which is a disgusting feat for the home side. All bowlers contributed heavily with the ball for India, and Hardik Pandya remained the only bowler without a wicket.
Watch: Suryakumar Yadav shows great sportsmanship against the UAE
In the penultimate over of the bowling innings, that is, the 13th over, Shivam Dube, the third Indian pacer, picked a wicket off the very first ball. This was the 8th UAE wicket to fall.
Then, on the second ball, the No. 10 Junaid Siddique walked in, and Dube questioned him immediately with a bouncer, which the batter missed. Sanju Samson collected the ball and threw it towards the stumps. The batter was surprisingly found short of his crease as he was seen complaining to the umpire about Dube's towel dropping from his trousers in his run-up.
The third umpire deemed the batter out, but it was then a portrayal of sportsmanship from Suryakumar Yadav, as he stepped in and decided to withdraw the appeal because the batter was actually distracted by the towel drop. The batter, however, was dismissed just two balls later as Suryakumar himself took a good catch.

Not Sanju Samson; Skipper Suryakumar Yadav slotted in at no. 3
The India vs UAE game finished within just 2 hours, and India was the effortless champion. They chased down the target of 58 runs in just 4.3 overs, with their new opening duo getting into the groove from the very first game.
Abhishek Sharma pairing alongside Shubman Gill as openers is final for India. Sharma might be playing the attacking role while Shubman takes a more subtle approach. However, doubts continue to mount on Sanju Samson's batting position in the lineup.
India has gone with both Samson and Tilak in the side; however, the skipper, Suryakumar Yadav, promoted himself up the order and came in to bat at no. 3 in the ending moments of the game, posing further doubts over Samson's probable spot.
Shivam Dube steals the show with the ball; Rinku Singh loses spot to an all-rounder
Shivam Dube, the World Cup winner with the Indian team, is among the very few players in the current Indian setup to have been part of the squad that won the World Cup just a year ago. Despite that, Dube had to seal his spot in the Indian XI.
Rinku Singh was left out to feature Shivam Dube, probably because he could be roped in as an additional seam bowling option to aid Bumrah and Hardik Pandya in the attack. And to everyone's surprise, Dube returned with career-best figures of 3/4 in the game.
Alongside his ability to tackle spin well and score quick runs towards the back end, Dube, paired as a bowler, is now irreplaceable in the side, resisting Rinku Singh's return on a further note.
