India National Cricket Team T20I skipper Suryakumar Yadav has been putting everything into staging his comeback in the Test team. The T20 specialist is currently plying his trade for Mumbai in the ongoing Buchi Babu tournament, which is organized by the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association.

Suryakumar Yadav, who is known for his explosive batting, is also putting in hard yards with his bowling.

The India T20I skipper rolled his arm over in the ongoing Buchi Babu tournament game between Mumbai and Tamil Nadu Cricket Association XI, which is underway at the Sri Ramakrishna College Cricket Ground.

Suryakumar Yadav stole the limelight with his bowling on the third day of the game. However, the batter made the headlines for his bizarre full-toss ball, which left him frustrated. He, experimenting with off-spin, bowled a high full toss, that was aimed at the batter's head.

Tamil Nadu batter Athish SR dispatched the ball for four. But it could've resulted in injury as the fielder at the short leg escaped a blow. He was forced to duck as the ball went in a flash over him. Suryakumar Yadav was quick to admit his mistake and apologized in frustration.

Suryakumar also faced an injury scare during the game. The right-hander did not take the field in the later part of the innings. He suffered a blow to his hand while guarding the slips in the second session.

He would be vital for his team in the second innings. The tournament will be extremely important for him as he recently stated that he wants a Test recall. So far he has played just one game for the team.

Since the last few weeks, Suryakumar Yadav has been focusing on his bowling as well. The India National Cricket Team skipper at T20I came up with a stupendous effort with the ball in the last T20I against the Sri Lanka National Cricket Team and helped his team win the game with the ball.

Suryakumar Yadav brought himself into the attack in the last over as he successfully defended the low target as the game moved into super over. Not only did he save the runs, but he also picked the wicket as his team then went on to win the super over.

Coming to the game between Mumbai and Tamil Nadu in the Buchi Babu tournament, the TNCA XI are ahead of the game. Batting first, they posted a decent total of 350 runs on the board despite Mumbai's Himanshu Singh picking a five-wicket haul.

However, after that TNCA XI came with a sensational effort with the ball. R Sai Kishore ran through Mumbai's batting lineup and helped his team bundle out the opposition for just 156 runs. The hosts then posted 286 runs in the second innings and set a target of 510 runs to chase.
