India National Cricket Team T20I skipper Suryakumar Yadav has come up with another horrible effort with the bat as he failed in the ongoing quarter-final of the Ranji Trophy 2024-25. The match between Mumbai and Haryana is taking place at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

India National Cricket Team batter Suryakumar Yadav made his return to Ranji Trophy 2024-25 for Mumbai in the ongoing quarter-final against Haryana. But his return to the domestic circuit in red-ball cricket didn't turn out to be in the way he wanted as he looked clueless with the bat.

Suryakumar Yadav started his innings with the boundary and it seemed that he would step up big time for his team. However, that wasn't the case as his stay at the crease for Mumbai in the ongoing game against Haryana lasted for only just 5 balls.

Suryakumar was removed by Sumit Kumar as he produced a peach of a delivery to send the batter packing. The fast bowler bowled a delivery that came back and sent the middle stump of the India T20I skipper for a ride.

Suryakumar Yadav has been going through a lean patch of form in cricket for the last few months

Suryakumar has been going through a lean patch of form in cricket for the last few months. The India National Cricket Team T20I skipper has slammed just one half-century in the last 19 innings that he has played in professional cricket and has come under the scanner.

Suryakumar Yadav's score in the last 19 innings read: 9(5) 2(3) 0(4) 14(7) 12(7) 0(3) 0(1) 0(5) 18(23) 20(16) 48(35) 1(7) 9(7) 4(5) 70(46) 1(4) 4(9) 21(17) 7(14).

Mumbai under massive pressure in the ongoing game

Coming to the ongoing match between Mumbai and Haryana, the Ajinkya Rahane-led side have come under massive pressure. They opted to bat first and nothing has gone their way as Haryana bowlers have been all over the defending champions.

Fast bowlers Anshul Kamboj and Sumit Kumar have oozed their class with the ball. While the former has picked three wickets, Kumar chipped in with two wickets. Ajinkya Rahane was the top run-getter for the team in the ongoing match, as he scored 31 runs off 58 balls.

Shivam Dube (28) also chipped in with a vital hand, but so far, the game has been all about Haryana bowlers. They have put Mumbai under massive pressure and left them reeling at 94/6. They would now want to end the innings quickly and then score runs with bat.
