Australia's star batter Travis Head posted a controversial story on his Instagram account after which he was slammed by the Indian users. The story was related to India's defeats to Australia in the crunch games in the past two years.
In his story, Head posted the visuals of Australia's recent win in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, the World Test Championship final win in 2023, and the ODI World Cup 2023 win. He captioned his story with the line "Feels right". In all these victories, Australia defeated India to lift the title.
He also shared a picture with his finger in juice and a picture with Australia's young batting sensation Sam Konstas, who had a thrilling debut series recently. Konstas was involved in a few altercations with Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah in the series.

Travis Head played a key role in all these victories. The 31-year-old batter smashed magnificent hundreds in the WTC Final and the ODI World Cup Final to lift Australia to historic wins. He was adjudged the Player of the Match on both occasions.
Recently, he played a part in Australia's Border-Gavaskar Trophy win with a crucial knock in the second innings. The pitch was playing tricks with Australia struggling at one point. But the left-hander maintained his composure to score an unbeaten 34 off 38 balls to take Australia to a memorable win.
Controversial gesture from Head
A few days ago, Travis Head made some gross gestures after dismissing Rishabh Pant during the Boxing Day Test in Melbourne. Head put his fingers into a hole created by the other hand. The wicket was the turning point of the match as India suffered a shocking collapse to lose the match in a dramatic fashion.
Head was slammed by former India cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu, who called it an insult to the Indian people. However, he later clarified that it was just a 'finger on ice" gesture and refused to admit anything obscene about it.
He was also involved in a verbal altercation with India's fast bowler Mohammed Siraj during the second Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25.
Travis Head in BGT 2024-25
Travis Head emerged as the highest run-scorer of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 with 448 runs in five Tests at an average of 56. He scored runs at a blistering strike rate of 92.56 and smashed 2 hundreds and a fifty in the process.
Head has been a nemesis for India in the last few years. The left-handed batter has been in exceptional form and has the ability to take the game away from the opposition with his attacking batting style.
The defeat in the Sydney Test has knocked India out of the World Test Championship Final race. Australia have now qualified for the summit clash and will face South Africa at Lord's in June 2025.
