Young Rajasthan Royals batter Vaibhav Suryavanshi had a dream start to his IPL career, which began in the ongoing game against Lucknow Super Giants in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The match between the two teams is taking place at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who opened for the Rajasthan Royals, surprised many with the way he started his innings. The young 14-year-old star came in as an impact player and slammed a magnificent six on the first ball that he faced, making many stand and applaud him.
On the 4th ball of the first over, Shardul Thakur bowled a delivery on a good length around off. Vaibhav Suryavanshi showed no respect whatsoever for the pacer as he stayed leg-sided and then carved the drive high and over cover for a maximum.
His first ball six left everyone in awe, including his partner Yashasvi Jaiswal, the bowler, and even Lucknow Super Giants skipper Rishabh Pant.

But Lucknow Super Giants pulled back the things brilliantly in the last overs. With nine runs needed in the last over, Avesh Khan then oozed his class with the ball as he defended it against Shimron Hetmyer and Dhruv Jurel to take his team home.
