Vaibhav Suryavanshi, on Friday (September 26), failed to score big for India U19 in their ongoing one-day match against Australia U19 at the Ian Healy Oval, Brisbane.
The highly-rated youngster finally began the tour of Australia. In the first Youth ODI, Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored 38 runs off just 22 balls to give India a flying start. India went on to win the game by seven wickets while chasing 226 runs.

He came up with a better performance in the second match as India thrashed Australia by 51 runs to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series.
Opening the batting, Suryavanshi scored 70 runs off 68 balls with the help of five fours and six sixes. Vihaan Malhotra and Abhigyan Kundu scored fifties as well as India U19 posted a big total of 300 before bowling out the home side for 249 runs.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi was clean bowled
After impressing with the bat in the first two games, Vaibhav failed to get going in the third match. While he got the start, he failed to convert it into a big score.
The Rajasthan Royals opener scored 16 runs, including two sixes, before being clean bowled by Charles Lachmund in the seventh over.
Lachmund bowled on the middle stump, and Vaibhav Suryavanshi wanted to play a big shot. However, the India U19 star failed to make any contact with the ball as it went on to hit the off stump.

Earlier in the match, captain Ayush Mhatre once again failed to deliver with the bat and was out for just 4 runs. After Mhatre and Suryavanshi's departure, Vihaan and Vedant Trivedi steadied the ship with a 69-run stand for the third wicket.
Will Malajczuk broke the partnership by dismissing Vihaan for 40. Vedant and Rahul Kumar then shared a 99-run stand for the fourth wicket before the former departed for 86.
At the time of writing this report, India U19 were on 234/4 after 43 overs with Rahul batting on 60 and Harvansh Pangalia unbeaten on 13.
