India National Cricket Team batter Virat Kohli had quite an animated day in the third ODI against Sri Lanka National Cricket Team. The last game of the three-match series between the teams took place at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Wednesday.
Virat Kohli looked in a furious mood during the third ODI against the Sri Lanka National Cricket Team.
The India batter during the first innings was at his aggressive best as he along with Mohammed Siraj, had a go at the opposition batters in Kusal Mendis and Sadeera Samarawickrama.
Kohli was right behind Mohammed Siraj when his pacer had a verbal spat. The premier batter celebrated the wicket of Sadeera Samarawickrama right in the face of Kusal Mendis, who was standing at the non-striker's end, shutting the batter up for the spat with the fast bowler.
However, if this was not enough, Virat Kohli then, during his batting, had a heated moment with Sri Lanka National Cricket Team bowler Asitha Fernando. After the batter defended the length ball outside off, the India batter and pacer exchanged death stares between them, raising the intensity.
However, once the game was over, the sportsman character of Kohli was in the fray as during the post-match handshake with Asitha Fernando, he looked in a joyous mood. The batter was seen passing on a smile to the pacer and also shared some words with him.

Virat Kohli didn't have a great outing with the bat in the third game against Sri Lanka. The right-hander yet again got trapped in lbw against spinner and couldn't take his team to the win. He yet again perished after having a start as he was removed by spinner Dunith Wellalage.
Dunith Wellalage bowled an arm ball to which Virat Kohli pressed forward to block as he played for the spin.
The bat was miles away from the pad, and he was rapped on the front leg. The batter ended with an innings of 20 runs off 18 balls, and after his wicket, India lost wickets in a flash.

After Virat Kohli got out, things didn't go in India's favor as they kept losing wickets quickly. Sri Lanka National Cricket Team skipper Dunith Wellalage ran through the Indian top order and middle order and picked five wickets in a flash to take the game away from the opposition.
Washington Sundar, in the end, kept fighting hard for his team. The all-rounder played a valuable innings of 30 runs off 25 balls.
India National Cricket Team got all out for 138 runs and went on to lose the game by the massive margin of 110 runs and inside 27 overs.
