India National Cricket Team batter Virat Kohli has been at his animated best in the ongoing game against Sri Lanka National Cricket Team. The final game of the series between the teams is taking place at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.

The tempers have flared up between the Indian players and the Sri Lanka players in the ongoing game. It was Mohammed Siraj who started it all as he had a go at Kusal Mendis after bowling three dot balls and then after Virat Kohli got into the act too and supported the fast bowler.

Virat Kohli didn't shy away from giving it to Kusal Mendis when Mohammed Siraj, in the same over, removed Sadeera Samarawickrama. The India National Cricket Team batter came up with an aggressive celebration right in the face of the Sri Lanka National Cricket Team Team batter.

Mohammed Siraj didn't have a great outing with the ball in the game. The fast bowler was taken for a lot of runs as he didn't look in rhythm in the game. The fast bowler gave away 78 runs in the 9 overs that he bowled and managed just one wicket with the ball in the game.

India made a strong comeback with the ball in the last overs. They didn't have a great start with the ball. Pathum Nissanka (45) and Avishka Fernando (96) added 89 runs for the opening partnership, and the visitors were put on the back foot right from the start.

Kusal Mendis at No.3 made sure that he supports the openers well. He ended with an innings of 59 runs off 82 balls and batted till the end, making sure that he took his team to the fighting total on the board in the final game of the series.

With the way Sri Lanka started with the bat, they looked all set for a big total of over 300 runs on the board. However, Indian bowlers made a sensational comeback in the middle and death overs, ensuring that they restrict the opposition to a total of under 250 runs.

India then failed to chase the target of 249 runs as they lost the series by the margin of 2-1. Chasing the target, skipper Rohit Sharma started aggressively as he slammed 35 runs off just 20 balls, but after that, nothing went their way.

India kept losing wickets after wickets as Sri Lanka National Cricket Team spinners were all over the batters. Washington Sundar (30), in the end, kept fighting hard for his team. But his efforts went in vain as India got all out for 138 runs and went on to lose the game by the massive margin of 110 runs and inside 27 overs.

The Rohit Sharma-led side also went on to lose the series. The first gamed ended in a tie and after that lost last two games to go 2-0 down.
