Jitesh Sharma burns a review in the first over, Virat Kohli angry

Royal Challengers Bengaluru won the toss and opted to bowl first in the match at the Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.

Sri Lankan Nuwan Thushara, who replaced Lungi Ngidi in the RCB XI, opened the bowling for his team and hit LSG opener Mitchell Marsh on the pad on the fourth ball of the over with a swinging full-toss.

He, along with other RCB players, went for a loud appeal, but the on-field umpire, Michael Gough, was not interested. Stand-in skipper Jitesh Sharma quickly ran towards his bowler, and the pacer convinced him to use a DRS instantly.

Looking at this, Virat Kohli, who was standing in the slip cordon, looked quite furious as he was not consulted before taking the review. Virat Kohli made sure to express his frustration instantly by telling Jitesh, "Bat pe laga hai".

Virat Kohli turned absolutely right, as on the replays, it was seen that Mitchell Marsh got a clear inside edge onto his front pad, and the Jitesh Sharma-led RCB lost a review in the very first over of the match.
