Former Indian captain Virat Kohli, known for his aggressive nature on the field, celebrated Australian batter Travis Head's wicket in the fourth Test match. Virat Kohli appeared to be in a lighter mood and showed off his dance moves after Jasprit Bumrah removed Travis Head on the opening day of the match.

At the close of Day 1, Australia was 311/6, with Steve Smith (68*) and Pat Cummins (8*) at the crease. Australia's top four batters scored half-centuries in the first innings. Jasprit Bumrah dismissed Travis Head for a duck in Australia's first innings at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on Thursday, December 26. The dismissal occurred on the fourth ball of the 67th over. Bumrah delivered a back-of-a-length ball outside off. Head expected the ball to either not seam or move away.

However, the ball seamed in slightly and clipped the top of the off stump. Meanwhile, Virat Kohli, who was standing in the slips, celebrated the wicket with some dance moves. The video of his celebration quickly gained attention and went viral on social media.

Here's Travis Head's wicket and the wild celebrations that followed:

Jasprit Bumrah's Crucial Wickets Helped Shift Momentum in India’s Favor

Jasprit Bumrah removed Head as his second wicket in the ongoing Test match. Before taking the prized wicket of Head, Bumrah had already dismissed Usman Khawaja in the second session of Day 1. Khawaja was caught by KL Rahul inside the 30-yard circle after scoring 57 runs off 121 deliveries.

Khawaja had added 89 runs for the first wicket with debutant Sam Konstas (60) and 65 runs for the second wicket with Marnus Labuschagne (74 runs).

After claiming Head's wicket, Bumrah struck again by dismissing Mitchell Marsh on the last ball of his next over. Marsh, who faced 13 balls, was caught behind by Rishabh Pant for just 4 runs. Bumrah’s crucial wickets helped shift momentum in India’s favor.

Jasprit Bumrah on the Brink of Personal Milestone

Jasprit Bumrah is on the brink of a personal milestone. If he takes two more wickets in the ongoing match, he will become the fifth bowler, after Ravichandran Ashwin (195), Nathan Lyon (190), Pat Cummins (189), and Mitchell Starc (161), to reach 150 wickets in the history of the ICC World Test Championship.

Bumrah has taken two five-wicket hauls in the ongoing series. If he secures another five-wicket haul, he will become the first fast bowler to achieve 10 five-wicket hauls in the World Test Championship. Former Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin finished his career with 11 fifers in 41 WTC matches.
