Former West Indies fast bowler and Cricket legend Sir Wesley Hall asked Virat Kohli to rack up 20 more centuries and become the 2nd to score 100 Hundreds.

This landmark feat of 100 Tons is something that only one former cricketer has achieved in the history of the sport. And that is none other than 2011 Cricket World Cup winner Sachin Tendulkar, who ended his career after scoring 34,357 runs across formats. Tendulkar had scored 49 ODI and 51 Test centuries and if anyone is close to equaling that record, then it is Virat Kohli.

The 35-year-old reached closer to the individual milestone last year during the 50-over Cricket World Cup on home soil. Virat Kohli scored his 48th, 49th, and 50th ODI century against Bangladesh, South Africa, and New Zealand during the tournament. With that, he broke Sachin Tendulkar's record of most ODI tons and became the highest centurion in the second-longest format.

With 29 Test, 50 ODI, and 1 T20I hundred, Virat Kohli stands at 80 centuries in total and he still has a long way to go to complete 100 tons.

Virat is currently featuring for the Indian team in what is his 6th participation in the shortest format's biggest event. He seemingly struggled to get going in the Group stages and it remains to be seen if he can get back to his best in the Super 8s.

Sir Wesley Hall asks Virat Kohli to get 100 Tons

Former West Indies pacer Sir Wesley Hall, who remained active in the international circuit from 1958 to 1969, had a meet-up with Virat Kohli earlier today. The former India captain was practicing with the Indian team in the nets of the Kensington Oval in Barbados when Hall arrived to present his autobiography named "Answering to the Call".

It was a ceremonious occasion as one of the World's greatest-ever fast bowlers met the modern-day batting great. Sir Wesley Hall had a brief chat with Virat Kohli about the latter being one of the best batsmen ever and that the former pacer is a huge fan of his. Their conversation was truly heart-warming as Hall kept praising Kohli for the player he is.

The best moment arrived in their conversation when Wesley Hall told Virat Kohli that he follows his stats and that he knows how many centuries he has. Hall said to Kohli that he has about 80 centuries before asking him to amass 20 more and make it 100 tons across formats.

Sir Wesley Hall also gave his best wishes to Virat Kohli and asked him to keep playing for the Indian team for many more years. "I have seen a lot of great players and you are one of them. I have followed your career and I hope you play for India for many more years." - the 86-year-old told Virat Kohli.
