Former India batsman Virender Sehwag has landed in a big controversy once again for making a distasteful remark on air. Known for making controversial comments, the legendary batsman took a swipe at the Jat community in his latest bold remark.

The former cricketer is currently plying his trade as a commentator for the ongoing Indian Premier League. He is leading the Haryanvi commentary panel in the tournament, and his comments came while he was busy commentating during a game.

Sehwag goes beyond the boundaries; this time in commentary

While speaking to his fellow commentators, Virender Sehwag took a dig at the intelligence of the Jat community.

The former opening batsman said that although the Jat community of different states has different languages, they are all the same when it comes to intelligence, as he called them 'paidal', implying a lack of intelligence.

"The Jats of Uttar Pradesh speak a different language, the Jats of Rajasthan speak another, and the Jats of Haryana have their own dialect too… but when it comes to intelligence, all are slow," said Virender Sehwag.
