Rajasthan Royals pacer Jofra Archer had a decent start with the ball in the ongoing game against Lucknow Super Giants in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The match between the teams is taking place at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
Jofra Archer, who has been going through a purple patch with the ball, took his team off to a flying start in the ongoing game against Lucknow Super Giants. The pacer bowled incredible lines and lengths as he troubled the batters big time with his pace.
Jofra Archer provided his team with the crucial breakthrough as he removed Mitchell Marsh and then, after that, troubled Aiden Markram and Nicholas Pooran as well. However, he didn't get the support in the field he would've wanted, and it left him fuming at Shubham Dubey, who committed the error twice.
The first error took place on the 4th ball of the first over. Jofra Archer bowled a delivery that was a fraction short outside off, to which Aiden Markram forced it through the covers off the back foot. Shubman Dubey went for the chase, but couldn't quite drag it back in after putting in a dive.
This left Jofra Archer frustrated as he fumed at the teammate, saying, "Who's that". The clip went viral on the internet within seconds, leaving many in splits with the reaction of a pacer.

Archer's agony turned even worse in the 5th over when Shubham Dubey dropped the catch of Nicholas Pooran. It happened on the 4th ball of the over when the pacer bowled a length delivery on middle and the batter looked to pick that up and dunk it away square.
Nicholas Pooran didn't get the proper connection as the ball took the top edge, and it went a mile up in the air. Dhruv Jurel, who was the keeper, called for it, but it was quite far as the ball went towards the covers. Shubham Dubey, who was there, settled under it before putting it down as it brushed his fingertips.
This made Archer look extremely frustrated as he kept his head down.

We need to keep going and hopefully, our luck will change - Jofra Archer
Ahead of the game, Archer talked about the Rajasthan Royals' performances, saying that they have competed well in the league, and he is hopeful of their luck changing. He also mentioned that his focus is on the IPL currently. Speaking to broadcasters, he explained:
"Nothing out of the way (on his injury comeback), just usual elbow stuff over a period of time, just building up over time. We've to take every game in its stride (on RR's performance so far), we competed in every match barring one. We need to keep going and hopefully our luck will change.
"Not a lot of faces have changed (on his comeback to the franchise), the coaches and some of the players have been the same, so it wasn't too hard to adjust. Just worry about the IPL now, we'll talk about it later (if he was thinking about the forthcoming Ashes later in the year)."
