England skipper Ben Stokes was left absolutely dejected after Zak Crawley bagged an unfortunate dismissal in the ongoing second Test against the West Indies National Cricket Team. The penultimate game of the series between the teams is underway at Trent Bridge in Nottingham.

England are off to a brisk start with the bat in the second innings. After they ended West Indies innings for 457 runs, openers Ben Duckett and Zak Crawley looked in good touch, and with good batting surface on the fray, it was expected that they would get off to a flyer.

But their dreams were shattered as Zak Crawley bagged an unfortunate dismissal. The opening batter got run out in the second over of the innings as West Indies took an early wicket. The batter without his fault was back in the hut early as he scored just 3 runs off 3 balls.

On the 4th ball of the second over, Jayden Seales bowled a full delivery that was angling across towards off stump. Ben Duckett, who was on the strike, played a straight drive as an arrow and much to the unfortunate of Zak Crawley, the ball deflected off the non-striker's stumps towards mid-off.

West Indies went for a fairly muted appeal for a run-out and the third umpire after checking quite a few replays showed that Jayden Seales got his fingertips onto the ball before it went crashing onto the non-striker's stumps. Zak Crawley was Well short of his crease and had to take the long walk back to the pavilion.

England skipper Ben Stokes, who was sitting in the dressing room, wasn't impressed with the way Zak Crawley got out. He shook his head in disbelief as England lost their first wicket in the second innings for just 8 runs and inside the second over.

Here's the video:

Zak Crawley didn't have the kind of outing he would've wanted in the Test. The opening batter bagged a duck in the first innings. He would've been keen to make an impact in the second innings but it wasn't meant to be as he got out early, managing just three runs in the game across both the innings.

Ben Duckett and Ollie Pope slam second consecutive half-centuries in the Test cricket

After Zak Crawley got out, Ben Duckett and Ollie Pope took the game away from the West Indies National Cricket Team. The duo has been sensational with the bat and has batted aggressively, putting the bowlers under pressure with their fast run-scoring ability.

Ben Duckett and Ollie Pope, who were sensational in the first innings, have continued their good form in the ongoing game. They have slammed a second consecutive 100-run partnership in the ongoing game and had helped England take a lead in the second innings. Both of them have slammed half-centuries and are looking set for a big knock.
