After having led his team to their second title, the legendary Virat Kohli reflected on the fact that he reassured his teammates that this season they did not feel the same amount of pressure as the last season, as they were already well aware of their abilities.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru has shown some extraordinary balance this season. They not only have some extraordinary bowling strength, but also their batters have stepped in from time to time to put their hands ahead of all others. At times when even Kohli has missed out, others have stepped into domination.

Virat Kohli, the legendary Indian cricketer, said that this time around the win from the last season had restored the belief within the RCB squad and had bolstered their campaign with the number of extraordinary performances from their players.
"Well, I said to a few of the boys that it doesn’t feel like the same pressure as last year. We knew what kind of ability we have in the group. We topped the table. There’s a reason why we got here first.
"And we just said one thing: if we stick to our cricket, if we execute our plans, we are the best team in the comp. And there’s a reason why we have done well so far in the group stage. We ended up topping the league stage," he said.
"And yeah, it’s just the skill sets we have; the maturity and the composure of the guys just shone through again tonight, and it was a clinical performance," he added.
