Ikrant Sharma, a member of the Panel Council of the Supreme Court of India and former Senior Vice President of Delhi Bar Association, has been unanimously elected as the Chairman of the Divyang Cricket Control Board of India. Apart from this, Ikrant Sharma has also been the Legal Adviser of the SC Commission and Additional General Advocate, Nagaland. Today, the meeting of the Divyang Cricket Control Board of India was held through zoom meet online, in which all the members present unanimously elected Ikrant Sharma as the chairman.  Prior to this, Ikrant Sharma has also been the chairman of the Disabled Sporting Society, which operates the Indian Divyang-jan Cricket team and establishes disabled cricket across Asia, and was the senior vice president of the All India Cricket Association for Physical Challenge Umbrella Committee made by the instructions of the BCCI.

Known for his strong advocacy and brilliant image, Ikrant Sharma has also been a brilliant player of cricket. On this occasion, Ikrant Sharma said that this is a social work, every effort will be made to make people with disabilities mentally strong and self-satisfied by giving them the opportunity to play at international level through cricket. On this occasion, President of Divyang Cricket Control Board of India Mukesh Kanchan, CEO Ghazal Khan, Secretary Haroon Rasheed congratulated Ikrant Sharma.
