Openers: Kyle Mayers, Amir Jangoo (wk)
West Indies would be disappointed with the way they performed, especially with the bat, in the first game of the three-match series against Nepal.
The Akeal Hosein-led side would like to bounce back strongly in the next fixture to keep the series alive.
The Men in Maroon would bank on their batters to come good after they failed to chase a below-par total of 149 runs and lost the match by a decent margin of 19 runs.
The onus will be on the middle-order batters who played some needless shots to take more responsibility and take the team over the line if the West Indies bat second again in what is a do-or-die game for them.
Amidst all the chaos, the only positive thing for the Indies in the opening match, as far as the batting is concerned, was the performance of Amir Jangoo and Keacy Carty.
The duo was among the few batters who got runs in what were good conditions for batting, and the team management would want them to keep up the good work in the second match of the series.
Windies would also want experienced batter Kyle Mayers to get a big score after he was run out early in the chase.
Middle-order batsmen and all-rounders: Keacy Carty, Ackeem Auguste, Jewel Andrew, Jason Holder, Fabian Allen, Akeal Hosein (c), Navin Bidaisee
The openers would also like the middle order to bat with a bit more responsibility than they did in the previous match.
Given that the Indies team has a fairly inexperienced middle order, it means that Jason Holder could contemplate batting one slot higher, i.e, at number six to control the middle overs of the team's batting innings.
Holder can be the batter around whom the West Indian middle order could revolve, with the likes of Ackeem Auguste, Jewel Andrew, and Navin Bidaisee playing their natural game.
Although the Windies have a deep batting lineup that extends till number nine, the bulk of the team's runs have to be scored by the top five batters while setting a target or while chasing.
Bowlers: Obed McCoy, Ramon Simmonds
West Indies will bank on their bowlers to carry the same form that they displayed in the first T20I in the upcoming match as well.
Indies have a good mix of spin and medium pace bowlers, most of whom can contribute in all three disciplines, which makes it a balanced side.
The Windies fast bowling department will be handled by Jason Holder, Obed McCoy, and Ramon Simmonds, with Kyle Mayers also chipping in with an over or two if needed.
As far as the spin bowling arsenal of the former T20 World Cup champions is concerned, it will be taken care of by Fabiean Allen, Navin Bidaisee, and the captain of the team for this particular series, Akeal Hosein.
