"We've to attack": Pakistan cricketer Hasan Nawaz sends warning to Jasprit Bumrah and team India during PSL 2026

Pakistan batter Hasan Nawaz is one of the rising faces in Pakistani cricket, and despite his young age, he has expressed his hatred towards Indians in one of his latest interviews.

India's and Pakistan's rivalry is nothing new in the game of cricket. The two teams have been arch-rivals for nearly eight decades, ever since the two countries fought for their independence and were then split by religious discrimination. They have been diplomatically struggling to maintain peace between the two nations, and now this has taken a toll on the game as well.

The Pakistan Cricket Board has constantly been opposing them in recent times, and they have had several clashes with India in new international leagues, as the two teams do not play in bilaterals any further. Other than on-field clashes, the two teams have been opposing each other off the field as well.

Pakistani cricketers in earlier teams might have had rivalries with Indian players on the field that went on to be ugly at times. However, despite the rivalry, they have had friendly relations on the field.

However, that has not been the case in recent times, as players have revolted against the Indian team and the two teams have stopped friendly conduct between them, which included the denial of handshakes and also refusing to accept the trophy at the hands of the PCB chairman.

When asked about who the bowler is that the cricketer Hasan Nawaz would love to thrash in a game, he explained that any of the Indian bowlers could be it, as he hates everyone from that nation. He said, "I think we've to attack the Indian bowlers. I hate every single bowler on the Indian team."

Who is Hasan Nawaz, the 23-year-old Pakistani cricketer who hates India?

Hasan Nawaz is a 23-year-old youngster who hails from Islamabad, the capital city of Pakistan, and has represented the nation in international cricket, having made his debut in ODIs and T20Is.

He has represented the country in four ODIs and 25 T20I matches. Having amassed 113 runs in ODIs, he averages a whopping 56.50 while averaging only 20.77 in T20Is, a format where he has amassed 457 runs, with a century as well.

He has been part of the Quetta Gladiators side for the last two seasons, and in 22 games for them, he has scored 690 runs while averaging over 43 and striking at nearly 145.

Hasan Nawaz's record against India

The Pakistani cricketer, who has been busy making bold claims, also claimed that if he gets the opportunity to bat against the Indian team, then he would love to give it back to those world-class bowlers, which mostly includes the likes of Jasprit Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh.

However, looking at his past history against India, he has played in a single game against India back in 2025 and could only go on to score 5 runs in the Asia Cup clash between the two teams. Hence, he has not been able to thrive against the Indian bowling attack; however, he would surely face them in future encounters.
