Delhi Capitals (DC) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) are locking horns against each other in the 32nd match of IPL 2025. The DC vs RR game is taking place at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
Both teams are coming into this game on the back of a loss and will be eyeing a crucial victory to get back to winning ways. DC's winning start to the season came to an end with a 12-run defeat against the Mumbai Indians in their last game.

Chasing 206 runs, DC were in the driver's seat thanks to Karun Nair's whirlwind fifty before suffering an inexplicable collapse. They were on 119/1 in the 1th over but failed to cross the finishing line and were all out for 193 runs.

RR, on the other hand, suffered a heavy 9-wicket defeat against Royal Challengers Bengaluru at home. Batting first, RR scored 173/4 with Yashasvi Jaiswal scoring 75 runs. The RR bowlers, however, failed to impress as RCB chased down the total inside 18 overs by losing only 1 wicket.
DC vs RR: RR opt to bowl
RR captain Sanju Samson won the toss and opted to bowl first. Speaking after winning the toss, Samson said: "We'll bowl first, looks like a good wicket. Gets better in the second half. The results and match conditions have been different, but we are still early in the tournament so we want to bowl first and get an advantage. Same team."
On the other hand, DC captain Axar Patel before DC vs RR match said: "Would have bowled as well. There will be dew perhaps in the second innings, but now we are ready to bat first and put up a big score. Need to look past the last game, but it is a learning experience. We discussed in the team meetings how we could have finished the game, we perhaps got too casual in the middle phase. Same team for us as well."
