William O Rourke goes unsold at IPL Auction 2025

William O Rourke has registered himself for the IPL 2025 mega auction at the base price of INR 1.5 crore. The New Zealand pacer is eyeing his maiden IPL contract in the upcoming auction.
While the highly-rated pacer has already represented New Zealand in all three formats of the game, he is yet to play in any overseas T20 league including India. O'Rourke was recently in India for the three-match Test series and managed to impress with his bowling.
In the first Test in Bengaluru, he made the most of the overcast conditions. The right-arm pacer picked up 7 wickets in the game and powered his team to a famous victory. O'Rourke has played 7 Tests, 3 ODIs, and 3 T20Is for New Zealand so far.
In Tests, he has taken 26 wickets while in ODIs and T20Is, he has 5 and 4 wickets respectively. Overall, O'Rourke has played 27 T20s and picked up 28 wickets.
